If you’re not already logged into the AWS management console, use the sign-in URL for your AWS account, fill the IAM user name and Password fields according to the details of the IAM user you have created for this workshop, and hit the Sign in button.
Once you’re logged into the AWS Management Console, make sure you have selected the AWS region from the drop-down list in the upper right corner of the UX as instructed by the workshop facilitators.
Next, use the Find services field to start typing a fragment of the service name you want to use next, in this case e.g. “con” as you’re looking for Amazon Connect. Alternatively, you can expand the All services list and browse throught the list of all AWS services in order to select the one you’re interested in.
Either way, after clicking on Amazon Connect you get to the Amazon Connect service management console. As long as you don’t have an Amazon Connect instance running in the selected region, you will see a landing page as shown below.
Click the Get started button to enter the process of launching a new Amazon Connect instance.
